Author Meghan Rosen wrote an article on June 20th, 2025 about early detection of cancer. She wrote how a group of researchers found traces of cancer DNA in blood years before diagnosis. Their research shows that there might be a possibilty that advanced technology can help detect cancer easier. The tests, known as Multi-cancer early detection tests (MCED) are under develepment and are leaning more on AI to learn what early cancer signals look like. Artificial Intelligence helps by checking the blood samples for Cancer DNA, RNA, and proteins. AI is useful for detecting patterns, and analyzing large amounts of data. Besides AI, other technologies used include nanotechnology and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS.) The extra three years can give patients a chance to avoid harsher types of cancer treatment. #earlydetection
